Sterling Rose

Sterling is a multidimensional artist, mentor and medicine woman with a passion for somatic healing, nature immersion and embodiment photography. Her work explores the dance of revealing and integrating the physical, mental and spiritual aspects within, while reclaiming the power of expression. Sterling finds joy in her creative and highly intuitive process offering guidance and empowerment through embodiment, co-creative and self exploratory tools. Supported by her deep relationship with the elements, she curates sessions and retreats as sacred containers for activation, healing and creative expression. Sterling has explored and studied a variety of physical, artistic and metaphysical realms - witnessing profound transformation within herself to radiate from a place of wholeness.

Nicole Frederiksen

Nicole is the founder of Season & Cycle, a holistic wellness business helping women reawaken their natural rhythms and innate energies. A certified menstrual health specialist, well womb yoga instructor and holistic self-care mentor, Nicole helps women reconnect with their cycles and selves through cyclical living, menstrual cycle awareness, spiritual self discovery (astrology & human design), mindful movement and metaphysical healing practices. She’s also a life-long healthy home cook turned plant-based chef/recipe developer on a mission to show healthy doesn’t mean bland or boring. Her beautiful, delicious and nutritious menus are full of show-stopping, yet simple recipes that inspire others to get creative in the kitchen by incorporating fruits, veggies and other superfoods in surprising and delightful ways!

A Pacific Northwest Gem

Just across the water from Seattle, WA but with the feeling you’re worlds away, is our location for the weekend - Indianola, WA. 

A small forested, beachside community on the Kitsap Peninsula (a 30min ferry ride and short drive from both downtown Seattle or Edmonds). Indianola is a place of overwhelming beauty and serenity. You can’t help but slow down here, take it all in and reconnect with nature and yourself. We can’t wait to share this beloved hidden gem with those who join us.

We happily offer a free ferry shuttle service for those who would like to join the retreat and walk-on to the ferry!

**We would like to acknowledging and honoring that the land on which we will gather is within the aboriginal territory of the suq̀wabš — ‘People of Clear Salt Water’ (Suquamish People).

The Private Retreat Space

The beautiful retreat space includes two 3 bedroom houses side by side on a private family property. Each home features unique and artistic details and an overall feeling of comfort and rejuvenation. The two homes are joined together by several garden, lawn and patio spaces for us to gather together. The layout of each house allows for plenty of space to retreat in your private room as well when looking for some healing solitude and rest.

Spring Inspired Nourishment

You’re in for a real treat (well many treats!) throughout your time with us. You will receive daily, locally sourced, chef-crafted meals, including some fun hands-on/cooking class style experiences. You’ll also receive a keepsake recipe book to take home with many of the weekend’s featured dishes.

**The menu will be almost plant-based in its entirety with vegan and gluten free options available. Other allergies or dietary restrictions can be discussed on a case by case basis.

The Spring Awakening Soirée

A multi-course culinary wellness experience inspired by goddesses & the feminine archetypes alike, not only will you have the opportunity to sit back and savor, but also learn about powerful ingredients and feminine figures meant to inspire and guide on your personal discovery & healing journey. 

In partnership with the Indianola farm and local vendors, the evening's festivities will highlight all that spring offers us.

Cancellation Policy:

Non-refundable, transferable to another person.

Do I have to be a woman to attend?

No. This is for fem identifying beings (inclusive to women, transwomen, non binary or womb embodying beings). 18+

Do I have to participate in all the retreat activities?

That is up to you. We encourage you to participate and engage in all the activities that honor you and your body throughout the entire retreat. Listen to what you need in each moment and feel free to take a break when needed. Activities will be meaningful and spaced out accordingly.

Can I drink alcohol or take other recreational substances?

Although we are aware of mind/body altering experiences being ingested on vacation, we would appreciate refraining from any alcohol or recreational substances.  We know you’ll be “blissed-out” from the retreat itself. 

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We will do our best! All meals will be vegan with gluten free options. Please provide us with your restrictions by May 1st. Our chef may contact you to learn more.

What do I need to bring?

  • Layers! As the season is changing and day/evening temps vary. Wear comfortable clothes for movement outside, and appropriate footwear for movement and beach walks.

  • Yoga mat, beach towel or blanket for outdoor use and added comfort. 

  • A journal and writing utensils

  • An Open Heart, Curiosity and Willingness to Participate.
